When we first started this business we got a lot of attention from other companies. They came to us and wanted to know what were doing, they offered funding or partnerships. The mistake that we made back then was we provided too much information to those companies, because they turned out to be competitors! The lesson we learned is be careful who you speak to, you cannot trust all people.
Entrepreneurial AH-HA Moment:
When we started our business we were using pretty traditional technologies that other companies were using as well. We were using traditional software and tools to solve the problems of our clients. Our Ah-Ha moment was when we realized we were using the wrong tools for the job! We started looking around, “is there a tool that would be better to solve our clients problems”? There wasn’t, and we thought why don’t we make such a tool, and that’s how our product came into existence.
We’ll be working to make more utilities and telecom companies more streamlined.
