“We attract what we are.” by Wayne Dyer
By the time I got those 5 people enrolled and delivered this 6 week program, I was way, way in the negative. That’s why I do what I do today which is teaching about high-end, private, one-on-one coaching and consulting. I teach in a high-end program rather than an hourly.
Entrepreneurial AH-HA Moment:
I had this big Ah-Ha moment when my coach busted me when she asked why I felt like I was charging too much or that I was doing something wrong? Because of my economic situation I thought it was expensive and I was projecting my own money story, money mindset, my own money situation onto my prospective clients.
Now I focus on having as many conversations as possible with ideal clients, enroll them into my high-end program and Boom, you get to six-figures that way!
In my first business, the tutoring franchise, I had a goal to reach $25,000 in one month. I had a plan and I focused and I did it. It was the end of that month and it was $26,500, I was over my goal and I was over the moon. I shared this exciting news with my boyfriend and then I was a puddle of tears. This goes back to the Wayne Dyer quote. I didn’t know why I was crying until a year later. My money set point was way high, up here, and what I believed about myself was down here so when I bumped up against that set point all of the low self-worth and lack of self-esteem just came forward. It took me a year to figure out why I had just totally fallen apart. It took me a year to get my income back up. I sabotaged myself, my income went down. The $26,500 did not match what I believed about myself. So I treated it like a fluke, like I got lucky. There was a reason I got to that number, the very specific things I did, the specific strategies that I followed.
I didn’t believe that I was the woman who could make that amount every single month. It was a big Ah-Ha for me to recognize what my own money set point was and what I really believed about myself.
With the Academy we are in the trenches with people. They are getting one on one coaching even though they aren’t in a private program. They are also getting the training they need. This business is heading toward a million dollars a year.
